Attorney Jovan Marinković graduated from the Law University of Belgrade and began his business career as a law clerk. During the internship, he worked in commercial, civil and criminal courts. After the internship, he passed the Bar Exam, enrolled in Belgrade Bar Association and founded an independent law firm. Taking into consideration/account the experience obtained by working in the court system, as well as in the private and corporate sector, Jovan provides service to his clients primarily in the areas of corporate law and corporate governance, labor law, advertising law, intellectual property, internet and media law, real estate law, but also in other aspects. Also, he monitors clients’ business operations in preventive and later stage through settlement with other party, or through proceedings at courts and other state authorities.
In addition, beside his rich career as an attorney, Jovan also worked on more responsible positions in different companies and business activities, such as:
- Director of Legal Affairs at Actavis for Serbia and Montenegro, where he was also the Legal Director at Zdravlje – Actavis Company from Leskovac. Within this mandate, Jovan served as President of the Basketball Club Zdravlje – Actavis Leskovac, and also was a delegate at the Assembly of Serbia Basketball Association
- Director of Legal Affairs and Secretary at Bambi-Banat
- Executive Director of the consulting firm Dr. Rantasa Consulting Wien Austria
- Legal adviser at NALED.
Jovan is also a member of Digital & E-Commerce and Anti-Illicit Trade Committees of the Foreign Investors Council (FIC), and member of Diaspora Business Council of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, in behalf of KupujemProdajem.com.
Jovan was also hired as a permanent legal adviser of the investment management company providing services to clients in M/A and privatization of legal entities of the Republic of Serbia. Speaks English.
